Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and clean offer the convenience of cleaning dry and wet messes in one time and without the need to switch between devices. They can also save space compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living areas.
A good combination bot will provide excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Find models that automatically empty their bins and fill up their water tank, and machine-wash their mopping pads with a dedicated dock.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has plenty to offer for its modest price and is one of the easiest robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start manual can get you running in no time. You'll have a the complete dust bag, water tank and a hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at high speeds and exert 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, allowing for quick removal of pet hair, dirt, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a variety of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app that lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like for each room.

For instance, you can choose to have the robot do a deep clean in the living and kitchen but take it easy in the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and smart navigation tech are also excellent as the robot is able to detect tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. Its only drawback is that it can smash into walls and other objects at full speed. However, an instant glance at the cleaning history in the app tells you exactly what it's doing and where it's headed and what obstacles it's run into or avoided.
The docking station comes with a handy LCD screen that indicates when maintenance is needed for cleaning up debris and cleaning the water tank that is dirty. It can also mix detergent into the tank in a controlled manner by using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time and the mop is capable of operating for 184 minutes in Quiet mode, while the vacuum is can last for 136 minutes in normal mode, before needing to recharge or return to the base to refill. The app is simple to use and intuitive that lets you look at all the details of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's most popular robot vacuum and mop. Unlike last year's model this one has a double agitator in its mopping pad which greatly improves carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power that allows it to remove finer hairs and other debris other robotic cleaners might miss.
The Roborock model, like the other two I tried it has infrared and a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it overcome obstacles like furniture, walls, and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by adding a dual camera which can detect objects and decide whether they are a wall or another surface. It will then automatically alter its path and clean around the objects without a pause.
It's the most expensive robot I've ever tested, but it also has the most features. Its sleek and angular design is eye catching and only has three physical buttons. The power button, which also resumes the cleaning, a mop button that doubles as a child lock and a home-button that can bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml tank of water. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin fills up automatically.
The only downside I found with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if it's required), it's a pain to take off the mount itself to wash it manually. I've noticed that any carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mount, which can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart capabilities which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can manage and set up these through the Roborock app that is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app lets you schedule cleanings and monitor the battery's life. However, you'll need to jump through a few hoops to allow voice control with this model which is a pity considering the performance of this model.

The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop equipped with outstanding suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and a variety of innovative features. Its innovative design lets you to customize and efficiently clean while saving time.

Another noteworthy characteristic is the X40's extendable and liftable side brush which lets it get into difficult-to-access corners and clean furniture such as table and chair legs. It also allows the robot to reach under furniture with a low profile, making it a great choice for small apartments and condominiums with small spaces. The side brush automatically tilts down when it spots wet spots. This is a wonderful feature that allows the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors through the frequent back-and-forth movement.
Unlike some other robots that solely focus on one task, the X40 is capable of performing mopping and vacuuming simultaneously or individually. It can also be programmed to avoid areas with carpet and mop only hard floors or reverse the process. It can be controlled by the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operations.

robot cleaner amazon is easy-to-maintain and offers numerous convenient features, making it an ideal choice for busy families. The docking station will automatically cleans the dustbin and mop pads before refilling them with cleaning solution and fresh water. 4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's among the most expensive models available, but it packs in many additional features that make it stand out. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub that makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and it has a high maximum suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also remove pet hair, dirt particles, and clean up spills and dirt-stained spots.
The mop is cleaned and dried at the base station every time they are used. This is a fantastic feature as it stops the build-up of mould and unpleasant odours in storage, and it also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen in other robot mop and vacuum models. It could be a great way to keep your home clean longer.
There's a plethora of options available which include the possibility to schedule cleaning appointments and adjust a number of different preferences. The app allows you to set these preferences or use the buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and offers a variety of options for customising your cleaning routine. It also has several features that aren't offered on other robots, for instance the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects dust particles.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks sophisticated and classy. It's heavier than the other two-in-one robots in this list, at 4kg - but it's not obscenely heavy either, and it feels robust and well built. The mopping is also well-designed and the double-rotating mops work well on hard floors as well as in corners. They can also extend to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice touch.
